COVID-19 Closure Update

Dear Clients and Mailing List subscribers,

Happy June (almost Summer) to everyone, and we at Aquarius Wellness sincerely hope that you are all safe and healthy, and are weathering these challenging circumstances we have been enduring together successfully! Aquarius Wellness was designed to be a refuge from the stresses and strains of life, which, under normal circumstances are challenging enough, but over the past 3 months have only been amplified to a level and manner most of us have never experienced in our lifetimes!

Consequently it has been extremely frustrating for all of us at Aquarius to have been sidelined during a time when it seems we are needed most, and I wish with all my heart that this newsletter was announcing our impending reopening, but unfortunately that isn’t possible just yet I’m afraid.  For we are a Wellness Center, committed to being “a space of healing and wholeness”, and committed as well to the first principle of medicine, “Do no harm”, both of which demand that we take an extremely conservative approach to our reopening!

We truly hope that all of you who may be trying to get in for some much needed TLC, will understand that we are only thinking about you, and as soon as the science dictates that it is safe to do so, we will throw open our doors and welcome you back to our humble “Sanctuary for the Senses” to begin the process of healing, physically, emotionally, and spiritually, from this collective trial we have all been living through.

We thank you all for your understanding and patience, and trust that you will agree that ours is the right approach considering the uncertainties of this virus, and the risks and dangers involved in the slightest of miscalculations! In the meantime we have been striving to share uplifting, relevant content that is Wellness related and designed to be a continual reminder that, yes…

This Too Shall Pass…and Yes…We Will Get Through This…Together!

In that vein, here is a deeply stirring video of Cat Stevens’ “Peace Train”, one of the songs I grew up with and one of my all time favorites, that speaks to a profound longing in the hearts of many of us for a world free of all that Covid-19 has laid bare, with painfully poignant clarity!

And perhaps, as enough of us start to value and work toward creating the utopian vision expressed in this song on a daily basis, in our own small ways, it will incrementally become more and more the experience we all start to share as our new “reality”, much like the phenomenon of the “Hundredth Monkey Effect”, described here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hundredth_monkey_effect
