AQUARIUS WELLNESS COVID-19 CLOSURE UPDATE
Dear Valued Clients and Visitors,
As many of you are surely aware, Aquarius Wellness has been closed since March 17th due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and now that St. Louis County has started to allow businesses to reopen, we have been receiving calls nonstop inquiring if we are open yet. As a small business that is very dependent on daily revenue to remain in business, and whose very mission, in part, is to be, “a refuge that nourishes body, mind and spirit”, it gives me no pleasure to have to announce that, based on the prevailing science and medical experts, and out of an abundance of caution, we do not feel at this point that we can safely resume scheduling appointments for the “high touch” services that we offer at Aquarius.
There are simply too many uncertainties involved with this Novel Coronavirus to allow us to feel comfortable physically interacting in close proximity, in a confined space, with our clients, both for their safety, and that of our team members! An invisible threat such as we are all confronted with needs to be treated with the utmost respect, and activities such as massages and facials will certainly be considered safe to engage in again at some point in the future, but that day has not yet arrived at Aquarius Wellness, a Wellness Center that adheres closely to the 1st Principle of Medicine: “Do No Harm”!
In the meantime, we have just launched our new website, complete with a beautiful new online store, and a small but selective selection of wonderful Spa products. For all those with Aquarius Gift Certificates, this is now a very convenient way to redeem them from the comfort of your own home! We of course greatly look forward to the day when we can welcome you all back, safely, to Aquarius for some much needed R&R, and we hope that you can understand, respect, and appreciate our commitment to reopening only as soon as it is safely possible to do so. Until then, our entire team at Aquarius extends our best wishes for a safe, healthy, and peaceful summer!
